BETHANY, Okla. ? The Oklahoma City University women?s soccer team remained undefeated in conference play with a 2-1 win at Southern Nazarene on Tuesday at Harmon Field.
The Stars (4-1, 3-0 Sooner Athletic Conference) and Southern Nazarene (2-4, 0-3) were both scoreless at halftime. OCU struck first with an unassisted goal by
Laurie Suter at 59:11. Suter knocked in the first goal after
Rose Mary Ormeno, Southern Nazarene?s goalie, mishandled a shot by
Jennifer Crawford.
Crawford had a hand in the next goal as well, feeding a cross to
Sarah Leonard. The ball ended in the top right corner of the net.
The Stars collected a total of 33 shots.
Jessica Caudle led the way with eight, and
Christin Baker followed with seven.
OCU controlled the ball for the majority of the game, giving up one goal on nine shots.

Brian Harvey said.
The Stars play Northwestern at 2 p.m. Saturday at Stars Field.
