Maryna Verbovetska averaged 4.33 kills, 3.33 digs and 1.00 block per game for Oklahoma City University to earn all-tournament at the NAIA Region VI volleyball tournament this weekend.

Verbovetska, a senior from Kherson, Ukraine, is part of the first class of seniors that were recruited to OCU for volleyball under coach Jen Salmans.

“Maryna helped make us as successful as we were,” Salmans said. “Maryna makes so many athletic plays on the court.”

Verbovetska ended her two-year career with the most digs (847) and aces (123) by a Star. She was a two-time all-region selection.
