Stars Begin Postseason at 1 p.m. on Thursday

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City opens the Sooner Athletic Conference Softball Tournament at home in a 1 p.m. game against Langston on Thursday.
 
The four teams joining second-seeded OCU in the OCU pod are third-seeded Texas Wesleyan, sixth-seeded Wayland Baptist and the seventh seed, Langston.
 
Texas Wesleyan and Wayland Baptist play at 3 p.m. on Thursday.
 
The two first-round losers meet in an elimination game at 5 p.m. on Thursday with the two first-round winners meeting at 7 p.m.
 
At 3 p.m. on Friday, the two one-loss teams meet with the winner advancing to the pod championship game at 6 p.m.
 
If an if-necessary game is needed, it would be played at the championship site – either OCU or USAO. USAO, as the top seed, would host the championship if they reach the finals.
