OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University's men's basketball program announced a pair of senior guard transfers on Thursday, adding Xavier Williams from Texas-Tyler and Tyler Pinder from Texas-Permian Basin.
 
Williams, a 6-1 guard from Plano, Texas, averaged 8.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and three assists per game last season under OCU's new head coach Tim Moser.  Williams, who also played at Collin College, was first-team All-Conference and All-Region. While at Plano High School, he was District MVP, two-time first-team All-District and first-team All-Region.
 
Pinder, a 6-2 guard from Tulsa, missed last season at UTPB. As a sophomore at Allen Community College, he averaged 16.7 points, four assists and 4.4 rebounds per game. He was an All-Tulsa World selection while playing at Broken Arrow High School.
