KANSAS CITY, Mo. -Â For the second time this season, Analise Rayburn of Oklahoma City picks up NAIA Softball Player of the Week honors after another star-studded week at the plate.
Over six games last week, Rayburn averaged nearly one RBI per at-bat. She accounted for 26 total runs, with seven of them coming in game two against Oklahoma Panhandle State. With a slugging percentage of 1.579, she was once again a tough out at the plate for opponents. She held a .684 batting average with a .652 OBP, striking out just once across 23 plate appearances.
Rayburn crossed home herself ten different times, while belting a pair of doubles, and sending five softballs over the outfield fence. She was just as dominant in the field, over 13 total chances, she was credited with eight putouts and five assists for a perfect fielding percentage.
Rayburn and the Stars are back in action on March 20 and 21 for a four-game series against Texas Wesleyan at home. The first of two games will get underway on the 20 at 2 p.m. CT, with the second game on Sunday starting at noon CT.
