Last Meet: Oklahoma City hit an automatic qualifying time in the women's distance medley relay and claimed four other provisional (B) standards at the Pittsburg State Invitational on Saturday.

Erika Pena placed second in the DMR, capping the evening on a high note, in 12:08.26. Gutierrez and Pena also had B standards in individual events at the meet. Gutierrez was third in the 800 in 2:17.06 and Pena met the provisional standard in the mile at 5:00.95, finishing fifth.
Kenzi Readnour was fifth in the women's 5000 meters with a provisional qualifying time of 17:36.45. OCU also had a provisional qualifying time in the men's distance medley relay.Â

Runner of the Week: OCU's
Erika Pena earned Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Runner of the Week this week. Pena took part in the Pitt State Invitational and set a pair of NAIA standards. Pena anchored the Star's Distance Medley Relay team to a second-place finish in a time of 12:08.26, which is an "A" standard mark and the fastest time in the NAIA. Pena then placed fifth in the mile run with a "B" standard mark of 5:00.95, which is seventh in the country this winter.
