Oklahoma City – Ayenew Devany and Isaiah Smith of Oklahoma City have been named this week's Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboards Men's Outdoor Track Athletes of the Week for their efforts this past week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
 
Devany took part in the South Plains Alumni Elite and earned a pair of second-place finishes in the two events that he participated in. Devany placed second in the 1500-meter run with an "A" standard time of 3:51.84, which is the fourth fastest time in the NAIA this spring. Devany then placed second in the 5000-meter run with a mark of 14:50.85.
 
Other Nominees - Dillon Bruington, Panhandle State
 
Smith also took part in the South Plains Alumni Elite and placed second in the high jump. Smith had a mark of 1.97m, which was good enough for the runner-up position in the event that featured 12 other competitors from around the Midwest.
