OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City University competitive dance team retakes the floor this Friday at the Coyote Classic.

Previously: Oklahoma City opened the competitive dance season with a victory at the Friends Invite. The Stars scored 92.46 points to win the seven-team field. Baker finished second at 89.63 and Kansas Wesleyan was third at 85.79.

In Salina: The Stars will be at the Coyote Classic for the first time. The last time OCU competed in Salina, the Stars won the NAIA West Qualifying Group Championships in 2015.

Classic History: Host Kansas Wesleyan won the event last season with 66.67 points, followed by Bethel (63.43), Missouri Valley (59.87), Friends (58.1) and Southwestern College (45.63). The Coyotes have won their home event in each of the last three seasons.
