OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City (12-6, 9-3) plays two home games this week, weather permitting, taking on Mid-America Christian (13-5, 7-5) on Thursday at 8 p.m. and USAO (5-13, 1-11) on Saturday at 4 p.m.
 
Cold and possibly icy weather is predicted for Friday and Saturday.
 
OCU Notebook
Previously: Oklahoma City absorbed its first Sooner Athletic Conference road loss on Saturday, falling at Wayland Baptist, 72-65. The Stars shot 25 percent in the first half and trailed 28-21 at halftime. Jonas Carlisle had 21 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Brian Alexander and Destin Jenkins added 12 points each with Jenkins getting eight rebounds.
 
Stars at Home: The Stars are 6-2 at home and average 91.5 points per game in Abe Lemons Arena. Jonas Carlisle leads a quartet of double-digit scorers at 14.5 points per game. Brian Alexander averages 13.8 points, followed by Beau Tranter at 11.4 and Jackson Hopps at 10.8. Alphonse Muteba averages 6.9 rebounds and two blocks per home game.
 
Our Best So Far: Brian Alexander's 29-point game at Mid-America Christian stands as the OCU season high. Alphonse Muteba had a season-best 12 rebounds against Haskell and six blocks against Langston. The season high for assists by a Star is eight by Jonas Carlisle against Ozarks.
 
Last Meeting with MACU: OCU won 94-66 at Mid-America Christian University in November. Brian Alexander led the Stars with 29 points to go with five assists, five rebounds and two steals. Jonas Carlisle added a double-double, getting 23 points and 11 rebounds. Hykeem Hancock scored 14 points off the bench and SaVaughn Smith and Alphonse Muteba added 10 points each. Shannon Strickland had 19 points for the Evangels.
 
Previously at USAO: Oklahoma City never trailed and won a 96-80 contest at USAO in November. The Stars held the Drovers 28 points under their season scoring average and handed them their first loss of the season after opening at 4-0. Jonas Carlisle and Jackson Hopps led OCU with 18 points with Brian Alexander coming up with 17 points and seven assists. Alphonse Muteba led the Stars with eight rebounds to go with his nine points. Mohand Ammad had 25 points and Elijah Burney added 23 for the Drovers.
 
SAC Look: The Stars are tied with Langston for second in the Sooner Athletic Conference at 9-3, one game behind Nelson. MACU is in sixth and USAO is tied for 11^th. MACU beat USAO in Chickasha on Monday.
 
League Leaders: USAO's Mohand Ammad is third in the SAC at 20.8 points per game and OCU's Jonas Carlisle is fifth in scoring at 17.2 points per game. Carlisle's 40.3 three-point shooting leads the Sooner Athletic Conference. Brian Alexander is third in the league with 3.7 assists and 1.9 steals per game.
 
Trending: Over the last four games, OCU is 3-1 with Jonas Carlisle averaging 18.3 points and Brian Alexander 14. Carlisle has made his last 27 free throws and hasn't missed since Dec. 4 (eight-game streak).
 
Scoring: Three Stars are averaging 10 or more points per game, led by Jonas Carlisle at 17.2. Brian Alexander averages 15.8 points, and Jackson Hopps gets 10.4 points per game. Alxander leads the team with 3.7 assists per contest.
