OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City men's soccer returns to action this week with home matches on Tuesday and Saturday.
 
The Stars take on Friend University at 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Jarvis Christian at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Riding the Momentum: After starting the season with a pair of 1-0 losses, Oklahoma City has improved to 3-2 after a 4-0 win over Central Baptist. OCU is outscoring opponents 10-0 in the three-game streak.
 
Shutouts Mounting: The only goals allowed by OCU this season have been on penalty kicks. The Stars' defense has allowed just 5.4 shots per game and only 2.7 shots on goal per match. The result has been three shutouts for goalkeeper Alexis Bertrand. Betrand has logged every minute in goal this season and has a 0.40 goals allowed average heading into the Friends match.
 
Hat Trick-Brace: Bernardo Duarte scored two goals in OCU's win at Central Baptist and that was coming off a hat-trick performance in OCU's 5-0 win at TAMU-Vicotria. He had the game-winner in the first half against TAMU-V.
 
OCU Goals: The Stars have 10 goals on the season with half of those belonging to Bernardo Duarte. Francisco Miquel has three, and Nathan Fergeson and Harrison Knight have one each.
 
On the Assist: Eight Stars have contributed nine assists this season, led by Ruben Fahiya with two. Francisco Miquel, Nathan Fergeson, Thomas Brulay, Juan Erazoa, Chris McDonald, Lorenzo Nardini and Ethan Taylor have one each.
 
Shoot Your Shot: Bernardo Duarte has 14 of Oklahoma City's 48 shots this season. Francisco Miquel has taken seven and Ruben Fahiya and Harrison Knight have launched five each. Of those 48, 23 have been on frame. Seven different Stars have tested the opposing keeper this season, led by Duarte with seven shots on goal. Francisco Miquel has five shots on goal and Thomas Brulay has three.
 
Short History: OCU and Friends have split the series 1-1-1 with the tie coming in the last meeting, 3-3, in 2023. OCU has swept the series with Jarvis with a pair of 2-0 wins. In last year's victory, the Stars got goals from Bernardo Duarte and Thomas Brulay.
 
Scouting Friends: Friends is off to a 0-3 start with losses to Benedictine, Midland and John Brown. Andres Michael Xibilia leads the Falcons with two goals.
 
Scouting Jarvis Christian: Jarvis Christian is 0-3 this season with losses to Paul Quinn, William Carey and Wiley. Julio Lopez and Kevin Ochoa have two goals each this season.
 
Coach Billy Martin: Coach Martin is 52-29-10 since taking the helm at OCU in 2021. His 14-win season in 2024 was his best so far.
