TULSA – Oklahoma City placed eighth in the men's cross country season-opener at the Rogers State Distance After Dark Thursday night.

Oklahoma Christian won the meet with 53 points, followed by Mid-America Christian (63), Rogers State (76), Oklahoma Baptist (103), John Brown (116), Rogers State alumni (134), Dodge City (194), OCU (201), Arkansas-Fort Smith (219) and Neosho Country (281).

Seven Stars finished the four-mile race, led by
Brayden Witthorne in 16
th at 21:07.
Carson Patten was 27
th at 21:26,
Ryan McLaughlin was 59
th at 22:19,
Cooper Phillips finished 60
