th and
Ayenew Devany earned All-America status at the NAIA Men's Cross Country Championship Friday morning.

Devany placed 32
nd in 25:09. He led a tightly bunched crowd in the lead pack at the three- and four-kilometer marks but had enough gas in the tank to earn the All-America award.

Riley Randall moved up four places in the final 1000 meters to finish 174
th at 26:29.
Jack Reed was 178
th at 26:30.
Carson Patten jumped up 10 spots down the stretch to get 190
th at 26:33 and
Braydon Witthorne rounded out the scoring in 224
th at 26:54 after moving up nine spots in the final 1K.

Also for the Stars,
Hendrick Ramirez was 247
th at 27:11 and
Ryan McLaughlin was 260
th at 27:28.

"The fellas weren't even ranked, and if we ask some of the guys they'd probably say only two of us ran well and we still got 28th when majority thought we weren't even deserving of top 36," said OCU Head Coach
Andrew Leahey. "So yeah, I'm encouraged with what the potential of this team is! This is just the start."
OCU finished with 628 points. Indiana Wesleyan won the team title and Jack Anderson of The Master's won in 24:15.

The race ended a strong season for the Stars, who captured their ninth consecutive Sooner Athletic Conference championship and also won the Golden Eagle Invitational.
