OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City improved its Sooner Athletic Conference winning streak to three matches with its third consecutive sweep, topping Central Christian 25-23, 25-14, 25-17.

The win pushed OCU ahead of John Brown with a key matchup with Langston awaiting the Stars Saturday afternoon.

OCU had an uncomfortable lead for most of the first set and the Tigers got to within 23-22 before an attack error and a service error ended their hopes.

Natalie Adams had two aces and
Erin Mack teamed up with
Marina Kalajdzic for two blocks in a key 6-0 run to give the Stars command in the second set. Mack would later end the set with a kill.

Mack and
Maddie Edwards and two blocks and four Stars had kills in a decisive 7-0 OCU run in the third set. Mack ended the match with a kill.

Mack led OCU with 11 kills and six blocks.
Natalie Adams hoisted 32 assists and had four aces.

Defensively,
Grace Smallwood led with 12 digs while Adams and
Kaylie Marshall added 11 each. Kalajdzic and Edwards had four and three blocks respectively.
