Men's Rowing Ray Fink

Stars Finish Sixth in Final Event

CAMDEN, N.J. – Oklahoma City University placed sixth in its final at the International Rowing Association National Championships on the Cooper River on Saturday.
 
Competing in the men's varsity four, OCU finished in 6:42.800 in Final #3. OCU's crew of Caitlyn Koekemoer (coxswain), Keaton Knopp (stroke), Ethan Romburgh (3 seat), Pavle Glisic (2 seat) and Vojin Kovacevic (bow seat) finished behind Marist (6:27.440), Stetson, FIT, Stanford and Cornell.
 
In the time trials, OCU had a strong time trial time of 6:17.876, which was 10th among the 39 entrants.
 
The Stars came in sixth at 6:38.53 in the ABC Semifinal. The University of Washington won the semifinal at 6:17.520 and Syracuse placed second at 6:20.52.
