CAMDEN, N.J. – Oklahoma City advanced to Final No. 3 after Friday's time trial and semifinals of the International Rowing Association National Championships on the Cooper River.

Competing in the men's varsity four, OCU had a strong time trial time of 6:17.876, which was 10
th among the 39 entrants. That qualified OCU's crew of
Caitlyn Koekemoer (coxswain),
Keaton Knopp (stroke),
Ethan Romburgh (3 seat),
Pavle Glisic (2 seat) and
Vojin Kovacevic (bow seat) for the ABC Semifinal.

The Stars came in sixth at 6:38.53. The University of Washington won the semifinal at 6:17.520 and Syracuse placed second at 6:20.52.

The sixth-place finish put Oklahoma City into the third final at 1:32 p.m. (Central) on Saturday. The Stars will face Cornell, Stetson, Stanford, Marist and FIT in that contest.
