After a challenging start to the NAIA Women's National Wrestling Tournament, the Oklahoma City University Stars found their rhythm in the second session, closing the day in 13th place. Despite winning just two matches in the opening session, OCU rebounded impressively in the evening round, scoring 20 team points and securing three All-American honors.

Heading into Saturday, the Stars have three wrestlers still in contention. Natalia Posada and Sofia Abramson remain alive in the consolation bracket and will battle for third place, with both guaranteed to finish no lower than eighth—securing their All-American status. Meanwhile, Alexis Miller, the tournament's No. 3 seed, is just one victory away from advancing to the national finals on Saturday night, where she would compete for a national title.

The second day of the NAIA National Tournament begins tomorrow at 10 AM, featuring the 4th Round (Championship Semifinals), 5th Round (Consolation Quarterfinals), 6th Round (Consolation Semifinals), and Consolation Placement matches for 3rd, 5th, and 7th place.
