PARK CITY, Kan. – Oklahoma City placed fourth at the KCAC-Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Wrestling Championships on Friday with a pair of champions and 10 placers.
The Stars ended up with 139 points.
Second-ranked
Avery Jansing easily won the 110-pound class with a pin and a technical fall.
Eighth-ranked
Bryce White won three matches to claim the 131-pound title, scoring two technical falls and a decision. She opened with a 10-0 technical fall over No. 10 Elizabeth Duvall in the finals. She also beat No. 17 Madison Pena, 6-5.

Alexis Miller was second at 103, including a pin over No. 5 Alexys Jacquez in 1:29.

Sofia Abramson was eighth at 103.

Alexis Miller had a tremendous run to the finals and showed a lot of grit. We also had strong podium finishes from Posada,
Corin Lowe, and Munoz. Overall, we're continuing to make strides as a program, and I'm excited about the momentum we're building heading into the national tournament."
The Stars await word of their qualifiers for the NAIA Championships.
