FORT WORTH, Texas – The Oklahoma City Men's Basketball team dropped its 10th straight game on Monday night as the Stars went wire-to-wire with Texas Wesleyan in the 75-65 defeat inside the Sid Richardson Center.

STAT OF THE GAME: Brandon Wilson went off in his performance on Monday night with a career-best 34 points on an efficient 10-of-13 shooting from the floor. His 34 points was the first time this season Wilson has surpassed 20 points after sinking a season-best five threes.
FIRST HALF: Brandon Wilson opened the scoring in an electrifying way with a three to open the game before a dunk on the following possession after a Beau Tranter takeaway. An 8-0 run by the Rams gave Texas Wesleyan the lead to which they would hold until 10:13 on clock after Brandon Wilson scored 12 straight points after three consecutive threes. Sitting at a 31-31 tie, Oklahoma City scored just four points in the final four minutes as Texas Wesleyan held a four-point lead into the break.
SECOND HALF: Throughout the majority of the second half the margin stayed within single digits with Oklahoma City taking a 55-51 lead at the midway point on a Yorgio Golesis triple. With 5:09 to play the Stars tied things up at 63 all as Beau Tranter knotted things up with his second bucket of the night. In the final five minutes Oklahoma City scored just two points as Texas Wesleyan closed out the game on a 12-2 run to secure the 75-65 victory.

NEXT TIME OUT: The Stars will take the floor one last time in the 2024-25 season on Saturday, Feb. 22 as Oklahoma City takes on Southwestern Christian at 4:00 PM inside the Gaulke Activity Center on the campus of Mid-America Christian University.
