STAT OF THE GAME: Oklahoma City came away with its third most steals of the season on Saturday after having nine takeaways while Avery Jackson picked up three steals with James Cloud following with two.

FIRST HALF: Oklahoma City got off to a strong start as senior Nick Bonifay opened the game with a three-pointer after making his third start this season and fourth overall in his five-year career. USAO turned the tables with a 7-0 run to go up by six with 12:09 remaining before an 8-0 run by OCU gave back the Stars lead on a Yorgio Golesis triple from downtown. Cade Allen knocked down a Drover three to put Science & Arts ahead for good as a 14-4 run for the Drovers helped them pull away with a 14 point lead going into the half.

SECOND HALF: A 9-2 run out of the half for OCU helped trim the deficit down to seven as Clayton Jewell began with back-to-back layups before Beau Tranter made it a seven point game two and a half minutes into the second half. With 10:05 to play Oklahoma City made it even closer as James Cloud knocked down a three to make it a six point game before USAO could get it back to double-digits with 8:39 left. The Drovers would hold at least an eight point lead for the remainder of the way as Cade Allen scored 17 points on 3-of-5 shooting from beyond the arc in just the second half for Science & Arts while Clayton Jewell and Avery Jackson combined for 26 of 43 points for OCU. Jackson cut the Drover lead to nine with 1:56 to play but a boost of offense on both sides finished out the game with a 12-point margin to hand Science & Arts the 89-77 victory on Saturday.
