OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City bounced back for a 94-80 win over the College of the Ozarks on Saturday to move into a four-way tie atop the Sooner Athletic Conference standings at 4-1.

The Stars never trailed but had to hold off a late rally by the Bobcats.

OCU led 68-58 with 11 minutes left but CO crept to within a basket, 73-71, with just under seven minutes to go in the game. The Stars answered with a 9-2 run, featuring two put-backs by
Alphonse Muteba and a three-point play by
Jonas Carlisle.

The final margin was OCU's largest lead.

Muteba led the Stars with his best game of the season, scoring 25 points to go with 10 rebounds.
Brian Alexander added 21 points and Carlisle came up with 15 points, seven rebounds and eight assists.

Muteba blocked four shots and Carlisle added three steals.

The Stars ended the weekend tied with Langston, Nelson and John Brown at 4-1 in the league.
