LAKELAND, Fla. – Oklahoma City University won five titles and placed 10 other wrestlers at the Southeastern Open on Saturday.
 
Cash Donnell (125), Kaden Fetterolf (149), Jordan Lomeli (165), Tate Picklo (174) and Cole Olguin (184) captured championships in their weight class.
 
Kaden Wallace (141), Alex Wilson (174) and Bryce Milster (184) were runners-up.
 
Hayden Wright (125), Jace Province (141), Jake Moon (157) and Jonathan Chiaffitelli (197) were third. Kolby Depron (149) and Wes Madden (165) were fourth and Dax Lopez (149) was fifth.
 
Donnell had a fall and two decisions before scoring a technical fall in the finals over Taylor Ramos of Truett-McConnell in 4:04.
 
Fetterolf had three falls and a technical fall prior to getting the major decision over No. 11 Raymond Cavey of Southeastern for the title.
 
Lomeli scored his second technical fall in the finals over Jvier Romeus of St. Thomas in 4:29. Lomeli also had a pair of falls along the route.
 
Picklo won all four of his matches by technical fall, culminating in a 17-2 decision over teammate Alex Wilson in the finals.
 
Olguin had two major decisions before edging Milster in sudden victory in the semifinals.
 
"For the most part, it was a good day of wrestling," said OCU Head Coach Justin Ensign. "It was good to get matches against some different competition we normally don't see."
 
The Stars return to action at the 918 Open on Saturday, Dec. 13.
