Okla. City Now 2-3 After 80-65 Loss to Hastings (Neb.)

SEWARD, Neb. - On Saturday, Oklahoma City dropped to 2-3 on the season after the Broncos of Hastings (Neb.) bested the Stars 80-65 in a rematch from earlier in the season. During the previous contest on Oct. 30, OCU defeated Hastings 91-81. All was not lost on the trip to Seward for the Concordia Cattle Classic; Jonas Carlisle was named to the All-Classic team.

STAT OF THE GAME
The Stars snared 20+ offensive rebounds for the second time this season. In all of the last two seasons, OCU has only hit this offensive rebounding mark two other times. 


MEDIA NOTES
  • Oklahoma City once again had three or more players finish with 10+ points.
  • 13 of the 20 offensive rebounds collected by OCU came from the starting five. 
  • #2 Brian Alexander has scored 10 or more points in all five games this season.


NEXT TIME OUT
OCU will begin Sooner Athletic Conference play by taking a short road trip to Southwestern Christian (Okla.). The Stars and Eagles will tip off at 4 p.m. next Saturday, Nov. 15.
