OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City heads to Siloam Springs, Ark., on Saturday, hoping to repeat history as Sooner Athletic Conference cross country champions.

The men kick things off at 9 a.m., with the women to follow at 9:45.

OCU Notebook
Champions: Oklahoma City has won the last eight and 11 of the last 12 Sooner Athletic Conference men's championships. The OCU women are defending champions and have won nine of the last 10 titles. Texas Wesleyan interrupted their streak two years ago. OCU has swept men's and women's championships eight times in the last 10 years, including last season.

Familiar Course: Both OCU teams ran on John Brown's course, Pollard's Field, at the Golden Eagle Invite on Oct. 11. The OCU men won with 43 points and three top-10 finishers.
Ayenew Devany won the individual title in 24:45.
Riley Randall was fifth and
Braydon Witthorne was 10
th. The OCU women were the top NAIA team, led by
Kenzi Readnour in third place in 22:07.
Erika Pena was seventh,
Keira Readnour was eighth and
Isabella Gutierrez placed ninth.

Kenzi Readnour on the women's side with three.
Ayenew Devany has won the award twice. College of the Ozarks Tanner Bailey is a four-time winner and CO's Keena Goze has won it three times.

Last Season's Men's Champions: Evert Silva led the Stars to the title last season with Beckham Hartis,
Damien Williams,
Elijah White,
David Boulanger,
Brendan Robeaux and
Halen Biggs making All-Conference.

Last Season's Women's Champions: Louise Cocking led OCU to the title last season in first place.
Erika Pena,
Isabelle Spiller,
Ginger Macinnis-Pierce,
Kamryn Boller and
Makenzi DeHart all made All-Conference as top-15 finishers.

Men's Scorers: The Stars have had three runners lead the pack in their four meets this season.
Ayenew Devany has led twice and
Hendrick Ramirez and
Braydon Witthorne have led once each. Witthorne and
Carson Patten have been in the scoring five in all four races. Ramirez and
Riley Randall have scored in three events and Devany's two wins were his lone appearances.
