MCPHERSON, Kan. – Despite a second-set hiccup, Oklahoma City was dominant in a 3-1 Sooner Athletic Conference volleyball match at Central Christian on Tuesday, winning 25-16, 23-25, 25-15, 25-15.

The Stars ended the night with a .297 attack percentage, three players with double-digit kills and a 52-assist night from
Natalie Adams.

Grace Smallwood had an incredible night, leading the team with 15 kills and 25 digs.
Erin Mack added 14 kills and
Marina Kalajdzic finished with 12.

Adams and
Kate Cleofe had three aces apiece.

OCU methodically put together three-point spurts to put the first set out of reach before
Kaylie Marshall finished off the set with a kill.

Riding momentum from their second-set victory, the Tigers led 4-1 and 5-2 in the third set before the Stars flexed for an 8-0 run.
Bailey Lowder and Kalajdzic had two kills each in that spree. OCU used another 8-0 run to build the lead to 23-11 behind two kills by Adams and two aces by Cleofe. Kalajdzic ended the set with a kill.

A pair of 7-0 runs in the third set saw the Stars storm away with the win. Adams led with two aces in the first run to help OCU to an 8-3 lead. The second run was highlighted by two kills by Smallwood. Mack got the kill for match point.
