POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. – Oklahoma City dropped a tough 3-2 Sooner Athletic Conference volleyball match at the College of the Ozarks on Saturday, falling 25-18, 25-22, 25-27, 17-25, 15-10.

Natalie Adams racked up 55 assists in the match for OCU, feeding a trio of double-digit killers.
Grace Smallwood led the Stars with 19 kills, followed by
Erin Mack with 14 and
Maddie Edwards with 12. Smallwood and Adams each had a pair of aces.

Defensively, Edwards was in on four blocks and Adams had a hand in three.
Kate Cleofe led the Stars with 19 digs.
Kaylie Marshall and
Ryan Leland had 17 each and Smallwood contrinbuted a dozen.

OCU dropped the first two sets despite a .353 attack percentage in the second.

The Stars were down 21-15 in the third set but fought back to take a 24-22 lead after a 6-0 spree. Smallwood and Edwards had a pair of kills each in that run. The Stars would win on back-to-back CO errors.

OCU finished off the fourth set with four consecutive kills, including two by Edwards.

The Bobcats blew open a 9-9 fifth set with five consecutive points and held on for the win.

The Stars return to action Tuesday when they visit Central Christian for a 6 p.m. match.
