OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City volleyball hosts two opponents this weekend, with the College of the Ozarks and John Brown visiting.
 
The Stars play CO at 6 p.m. on Friday with JBU visiting at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Playoff Picture: Heading into the week, Oklahoma City is in seventh in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings and can clinch an outright postseason berth with one more win. A top three seed in the conference tournament remains a possibility.

Giddy Digs: The Stars have a trio of players averaging better than three digs per set, led by Grace Smallwood at 3.76. Kaylie Marshall is at 3.52 and Kate Cleofe averages 3.45.
 
Aces High: The Stars have been on the rise in service aces and now average 1.8 per set. Natalie Adams leads the team with 45, which is fourth in the SAC. Grace Smallwood has 30.
 
Last Match: In its final road match of the season, Oklahoma City battled but fell short in three sets at Nelson, 25-22, 25-20, 25-22. Grace Smallwood led the Stars with an 11-kill, 20-dig double-double. Natalie Adams had 35 assists. Three other Stars joined Smallwood in reaching double-digit digs. Kate Cleofe had 16, Kaylie Marshall had 15 and Ryan Leland added 10.
 
History with College of the Ozarks: The Bobcats scored a 3-2 win over Oklahoma City earlier this month in Missouri. Grace Smallwood led OCU with 19 kills and Erin Mack added 14. Bri Linehan had 18 for CO.
 
Scouting the Bobcats: College of the Ozarks is 13-10 overall and 8-9 in the Sooner Athletic Conference with John Brown visiting on Wednesday. Cora Roweton leads the team with 2.85 kills per set. Bri Linehan averages 2.64 kills.
 
History with John Brown: John Brown scored a 3-1 win over the Stars in Arkansas earlier this month. Kaylie Marshall led OCU with 19 kills, with Marshall and Grace Smallwood both producing double-doubles. Kate Carlson had 15 kills to lead the Golden Eagles.
 
Scouting JBU: With a match at College of the Ozarks upcoming on Wednesday, JBU is 8-17 overall and 4-13 in the SAC. The Golden Eagles are coming off road losses last weekend at Mid-America Christian and USAO. Kate Carlson leads JBU with 2.18 kills per set.
 
Setter of the Week: Natalie Adams again earned Sooner Athletic Conference Setter of the Week honors on Oct. 20. Adams paced the Stars to a 2-0 record last week with 109 assists for an average of 12.11 assists per set. Adams had 60 helpers in a 3-2 victory over Wayland Baptist while adding 49 assists in a 3-1 win over Panhandle State. Adams also added 29 digs over the two matches for an average of 3.22 digs per set. It is the second consecutive Setter of the Week honor for Adams, who has now claimed the honor three times this season. She also was honored on Sept. 15 and on Oct. 13.
 
2K: Natalie Adams had 32 assists in the home win over Langston to bring her to an even 2,000 for her career.
 
On to 300!: Coach Kristen Coventon came into the season with 195 career coaching wins – 109 of those at Oklahoma City. The first Central Christian win this season was career win No. 200 for her. She picked up her 100th win of her Stars era at home against USAO on Sept. 28. Her win total now stands at 207 for her career and 121 at OCU.
