Stars to Compete Sunday in Head of the Charles

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City men's rowing sends five athletes to the Head of the Charles Regatta for a race on Sunday on the Charles River in Cambridge, Mass.
 
The Stars are competing in the Collegiate 4+ at 1:19 p.m. Eastern and will be starting sixth out of 40 entries.
 
In the OCU boat are coxswain Caitlyn Koekemoer, stroke Ilija Panic, third set Ethan Romburgh, second seat Keaton Knopp and bow Nick Burks.
 
The Stars are the lone NAIA entrant and will face off against a largely NCAA Division I field.
 
OCU opened with a strong performance in the Head of the Oklahoma two weeks ago. The crew racing in Massachusetts were in together in the winning men's eight with coxswain in Oklahoma City.
