OKLAHOMA CITY – Ayenew Devany and Kenzi Readnour of Oklahoma City are this week's Sooner Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
 
Devany took part in the Golden Eagle Invitational last week and finished first in the individual event with a time of 24:45.19 over the 8K course in Siloam Springs, Ark. There were 83 runners in the event that featured many SAC teams and runners participating. Devany's time was fourth fastest in the conference this fall.
 
Readnour also participated in the Golden Eagle Invitational and was the top NAIA finisher in the event as she ran the 6K course in a time of 22:07, which was good enough for a third-place finish out of 72 runners. The event featured many SAC teams and runners as well as a few NCAA Division II teams. Readnour holds the best 6K time in the conference with her mark in Siloam Springs, Ark.
