Set 1
Oklahoma City found itself starting to heat up early on with four straight points to take a 6-3 lead after three errors by the Eagles and an ace by Joeci Hunt. Southwestern Christian battled its way back tying the match up at 11-11. Right when it looked like OCU was about to pull away after putting together a 7-0 run on four kills from four different Stars, SCU made its way back after a 5-2 run that cut the deficit to just two. Southwestern Christian stayed in the zone continuing to chip away and eventually tying things back up at 24 all. OCU found themselves with set point once again after an SCU service error followed up by Erin Mack delivering the set clinching kill to win 26-24.

Set 2
Southwestern Christian opened up the second set on a 6-1 run on two kills by Paige McGee and Brianna DeVries along with four errors by OCU. The tide began to turn as OCU rattled off nine straight points on four aces by Joeci Hunt who helped lead the Stars to a 10-6 advantage. Oklahoma City finished its 17-1 run by stringing together eight points in a row this time as Ruby Kelley and Rylee Steward added kills while Kelley also pitched in with two aces. OCU was able to close the book on the second set as Steward notched two more kills while Maddie Edwards spiked one at the end to close out the second set with a 25-12 victory.

Set 3
Oklahoma City picked up right where they left off with a hot start to the third set opening with an 8-1 lead on three more kills by Kelley. Like OCU did in the second set, Southwestern Christian took its turn of scoring nine in a row as McGee was doing it all for the Eagles to bring her team back in the contest. With SCU leading 11-10, Oklahoma City took back the control with a 7-1 run on a pair of kills from Steward and aces by Jaiden Downey and Grace Smallwood. Once again Southwestern Christian refused to go away cutting the deficit to just one at 21-20 before OCU scored three straight before Steward put things to an end with one last kill that gave Oklahoma City a 25-21 win.
