Avery Jackson put on a show for the Stars on Saturday as the sophomore guard reached the 30-point mark for the second time this season and cashed in on a season-high five threes on seven attempts.
Senior
Brandon Jackson hit the 20-point mark for the third consecutive game while scoring his 20 points on 7-16 shooting while going 50% from three-point range. Jackson also had eight rebounds with a season-high of three steals.
Junior forward
Parker Jones gave Oklahoma City the boost of energy it needed with one of his best games of the season as Jones tied a season-high of 15 points while going 7-for-11 from the field.
Off the bench, freshman
Clayton Jewell notched his second double-double of the year while earning a season-high 14 points to go along with 11 rebounds.
Oklahoma City shot the ball at a high clip yesterday while shooting 47.8% from the field and outshooting the Eagles from three (40.0%) and the free-throw line (85.7%).
With the win, Oklahoma City earned its seventh straight victory over Southwestern Christian moving the all-time series record to 17-3 in favor of OCU dating back to 2013.
