NORTH NEWTON, Kan. – Oklahoma City University grabbed the grand champion title in the Bethel Thresher Invitational on Saturday at the Thresher Gym.
The Stars earned the competitive dance crown with the top score of the event of 91.03.
In its other performance of the day, Oklahoma City produced a score of 89.87. OCU became one of two teams to garner a score of 90 or better with St. Ambrose (Iowa) taking a 90.43.
Baker (Kan.) was the only other team to post a score of 85 or better over the weekend.
OCU returns to action in the MidAmerica Nazarene Invitational at 6 p.m. Feb. 10 in Olathe, Kan.
