OCU's Avery Jackson, a freshman political science major from Frisco, Texas, posted 19 points, four rebounds and four steals. Dravon Clayborn, a senior business administration major from Evanston, Ill., came up with 13 points, four rebounds and seven assists, while Kori Guest, a senior from Tulsa, Okla., majoring in criminal justice, contributed 12 points and seven rebounds.

Brandon Jackson's back-to-back baskets gave the Stars their largest advantage of the day. Jackson stuck a putback, then nailed a 3-pointer to put OCU ahead 46-31 with 2:39 showing in the first period.

Panhandle State reduced OCU's lead to 63-58 with 13:06 left as Elliott sank a free throw. The Stars returned their advantage to double digits with a 9-2 run. Avery Jackson's layup in transition moved Oklahoma City's lead to 86-73 with 4:33 to go.
