SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - Oklahoma City University was downed by JBU with an 87-69 loss on Tuesday night at the Bill George Arena.

Kori Guest led Stars with 20 points. OCU had an early 21-11 advantage against the Golden Eagles after a pair of
Avery Jackson free throws. OCU moves to 14-12, 12-8 (SAC) with two games remaining on the season.

The Stars finished the game shooting 44 percent from the field and 100 percent from the free throw line.
Brandon Jackson, a junior from Westmont, Calif., studying human performance had 17 points. Jackson and Guest, a senior criminal justice major from Tulsa, Okla., both had four rebounds as well.
Avery Jackson supplied nine points while grabbing six rebounds.

Capping off the Stars leading scorers were
Parker Jones with seven and
Dravon Clayborn with six.

After the Stars gave up their early 10-point lead, JBU slowly got out to a five-point lead to end the half. The Stars kept the game within a 10-point margin until the 12:11 mark and didn't trail by more than 12 until 5:36 was left.
Parker Jones ended the Stars late scoring drought with a three to cut the deficit to 13 with three minutes remaining.

OCU will look to bounce back when they take on Southwestern Christian University on Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Noble Complex at Oklahoma Baptist University.
