The Stars have found themselves in plenty of close contests seeing three of its losses come by no more than two possessions while taking (RV) Columbia College to overtime on Dec. 5.
  • Amiya Howard brought a spark to the Stars on Saturday after coming off the bench to give the Stars a season-high nine points along with two assists.
  •  Freshman Jazmin Adams has come onto the scene and been a strong piece to the Stars lineup since making her first appearance at John Brown on Nov. 28. Adams reached a season-high 18 points in the blow-out win over Central Christian while also hauling in 14 rebounds and collecting three assists.

About the Eagles

  • Oklahoma Wesleyan is off to a 2-9 start to the season while going 1-5 so far in KCAC play.
  • The Eagles have faced some of OCU's familiar opponents by taking on three other schools from the Sooner Athletic Conference. Those schools include Langston, Texas Wesleyan, and SAGU where Oklahoma Wesleyan went 0-3 in those matchups.
  • The Eagles are led by Rashaan Smith who has made only three starts in 10 appearances and still leads the team in scoring with 11.3 PPG. Smith saw her top game of the season come against Ottawa where she dropped a season-high 22 points in the 73-68 loss.

Loyola advanced to the NAIA Championship Tournament and posted 20-win seasons all four years. The Wolf Pack went 91-22 (.805 winning percentage) with her contributions.
