OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University placed two student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
 
Brooke Curry and Amanda Sene Da Cruz were the honored Stars..
 
The honor requires a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and a substantial contribution to the team's on-court success.
 
Curry, a sophomore exercise science major from Choctaw, played in 27 games with 15 starts, averaging six points per game.
 
Sene Da Cruz, a senior mass communications major from Rio Grande, Brazil, started 26 games and averaged 6.6 points per game.
 
Curry and Sene Da Cruz were two of six Sooner Athletic Conference women's basketball players included on the Academic All-District list.
