GOODWELL, Okla. – Oklahoma City University rolled past Panhandle State 25-22, 26-24, 25-23 on Friday evening at Anchor D Arena.
Gabrielle Fjeseth, a sophomore from Moore, Okla., provided the Stars with a season-high 11 kills. Oklahoma City moved to 8-8, 6-3 in Sooner Athletic Conference volleyball.
Ruby Kelley, a sophomore from Mustang, Okla., recorded nine kills and 10 digs, and Kaitlyn Dunlap, a sophomore from Wichita Falls, Texas, picked up 15 digs for OCU.
Cassidy DeShong, a sophomore from Amarillo, Texas, handed out 19 assists, while Emma Vance, a junior from Norman, Okla., piled up 16 assists. Rylee Steward, a junior from Edmond, Okla., supplied the Stars with six blocks.
Oklahoma City took the second set despite trailing 20-15.
The Stars meet Wayland Baptist (Texas) at 5 p.m. Saturday in Plainview, Texas.
