OKLAHOMA CITY – No. 4 ranked Oklahoma City University extended its winning streak to 15 games with a senior night doubleheader sweep over Central Christian (Kan.) on Friday at Jim Wade Stadium.

The Stars scored 25 runs in the sweep, winning game one 12-1 before posting a 13-4 win in game two.

OCU blew the opener open with a 10-run third inning. Senior
Cross Factor started the scoring in that frame with a two-run homer that increased the lead to 3-0. Senior
Noah Barks delivered a grand slam later in the inning that stretched the lead to 11-1.

OCU finished with 13 hits in the win with Barks, Factor, senior
Cade Stephens, senior Fred Walter and sophomore
Chad Pike delivering two hits apiece.

Junior
Eli Davis (8-0) earned the win after allowing one run on two hits with 10 strikeouts and one walk in a six-inning outing.
Connor Ferguson contributed a hitless seventh inning to close out the win.

OCU (39-3, 18-2 SAC) left little doubt in game two as well, leading 5-0 after the first inning and 9-0 after two innings. The Stars recorded 11 hits in those two innings.

OCU finished with 16 hits overall, with 10 of those hits going for extra bases. Senior

Dylan Taylor all hit home runs in the win.

Peyton Crispin finished with a team-high three hits apiece.

Tanner Schoeninger (9-0) became the team leader in wins after allowing four runs on five hits with six strikeouts and three walks in a 5.2 inning outing. Senior
Chris Bennefield closed out the win with a scoreless seventh inning.

OCU will closeout the home portion of the regular season tomorrow with a single game against CCCK. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
