• Oklahoma City University will attempt to snap a two-game losing streak when it faces Mid-America Christian in a cross-town showdown on Thursday night
• MACU defeated OCU for the first time ever with a 71-53 win over the Stars on Jan. 6 at Abe Lemons Arena. OCU now leads the all-time series 30-1

ABOUT THE STARS
• OCU (14-9, 9-9 SAC) is coming off a 71-62 loss to Oklahoma Panhandle State on Monday night in Goodwell. The 62 points tied for the third-lowest scored by the Stars this season.
• Senior center
Abby Selzer finished with a team-high 22 points in the loss, marking the 18th time in 19 games she has scored in double-figures. Selzer has scored 20 more points eight times. Selzer ranks second in the Sooner Athletic Conference in rebounding (10.1 rpg) and third in scoring (18.3 ppg)
• Senior guard
Annilia Dawn contributed 13 points against WBU, marking the 11th time in 16 games played that she has scored in double-figures.

Erika Ankney contributed 14 points and six assists in the loss. She has scored in double-figures in 15 of 17 games played and ranks eighth in the SAC with a 17.4 points per game scoring average.
• OPSU made 25 of 60 field goal attempts (41.7%), a mark that goes down as the fourth-best shooting performance by an OCU opponent this season.
• OCU committed a season-low five turnovers in the loss. The previous low was eight turnovers in an 81-76 win over Southwestern Christian on Jan. 8.
• OCU ranks fifth in the NAIA team rankings in free throws made per game (17.4) and eighth in free throw percentage (77.2%).
• OCU ranks fifth in the SAC in team offense (73.9 ppg) and seventh in team defense (69.3 ppg).
• Oklahoma City has captured nine national championships in 1988, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2017 and finished as national runner-up four times (2003, 2004, 2005 and 2019)

ABOUT THE EVANGELS
• Mid-America Christian (22-2, 15-2) enters the game with a No. 20 ranking in the latest NAIA top-25 poll and 13-game winning streak. MACU's last loss was a 64-62 defeat to Science & Arts on Dec. 4.
• MACU defeated North Texas Dallas 59-42 on Sunday in Waxahachie, Texas. Sydney Wycoff led the Evangels with 13 points in the win with Ossyana Ozoani contributing 12 points and 11 rebounds.
• Ozani ranks first in the Sooner Athletic Conference and 15th in NAIA in rebounding (11.1 rpg). She also ranks second in the conference in field goal percentage (56.9%).
• MACU ranks third in the SAC in team offense (78.7 ppg) and first in team defense (56.5 ppg)
MEET THE COACHES
Brett Tahah (19-7, second season with OCU)
• Tahah is the first former OCU student-athlete to serve as head coach of the program
• As a player from 2002-10 she helped lead the team to a 63-10 record, two conference championships and two NAIA Fab Four appearances
• Tahah compiled a 117-50 head-coaching record with two state tournament semifinal berths in six years at Oklahoma high schools Frontier, Elgin, Hobart and Lookeba-Sickles
Hannah Moeller (sixth season at MACU)
• Led the Evangels to their first ever Sooner Athletic Conference regular-season title and NAIA National Tournament appearance last season.
• Guided the team to 20-win seasons in her first four seasons as head coach before last year's COVID-shortened campaign.
• Two-time NCCAA National Coach of the Year honoree
