Late Run Lifts Science & Arts Past OCU

OKLAHOMA CITY – A late surge lifted No. 15 ranked Science & Arts to a 93-75 win over Oklahoma City University in Sooner Athletic Conference play on Saturday afternoon at Abe Lemons Arena.

OCU (8-10, 7-4 SAC) took a 70-69 lead on a jumper by junior Dravon Clayborn at the 6:57 mark of the second half but S&A (14-3, 9-1) finished the game with a 24-5 run to secure the win.

The Stars led by as many as nine points in the first half but S&A held a 46-39 halftime lead. The Stars chipped away at that score, taking their first lead of the second half at 60-58 on lay-up by senior guard Rashaun Coleman at the 11:35 mark.

The teams would play even over the next four and a half minutes until S&A went on their game-clinching run.
