BUTTE, Mont. – Oklahoma City University fell 88-69 to Montana Tech on Saturday night at Kelvin Sampson Court in the Montana Tech Fall Classic.
Kori Guest, a junior from Tulsa, Okla., topped OCU with 18 points. The Stars (1-5) had their final tuneup before conference play.
Eric Amandio, Rashaun Coleman and Dadrian Hoambrecker each scored seven points for Oklahoma City. Romario Spence pulled down a team-best nine rebounds.
OCU owned the advantage on the boards 39-34. The Stars outscored Montana Tech 42-40 in second half.
Oklahoma City came off dropping a 70-63 decision to Carroll (Mont.), ranked 10th in the NAIA, on Friday.
The Stars face Central Christian (Kan.) at 7:45 p.m. Thursday in McPherson, Kan., in their Sooner Athletic Conference opener.
