THE MATCHUP

• No. 1-ranked Oklahoma City University aims to remain unbeaten in an encounter against Sooner Athletic Conference foe Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas)

• OCU reached 20 wins for the 22nd consecutive season, improving to 668-87 (.885 winning percentage) since 1998-99. In 2018-19, the Stars collected 25 wins for the 20th time in 21 years and 30 wins for the 13th time in program history
• Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students, and OCU students, faculty and staff get into all regular-season OCU home athletics events free with their ID

ABOUT THE STARS
• The Stars seized an 83-70 victory over Langston on Saturday inside Abe Lemons Arena. OCU (20-0, 12-0 SAC) sank 31 of 35 foul shots to score 30 points from the free-throw line for the first time since an 83-66 win over Texas Wesleyan on Jan. 9
• Abby Selzer, a sophomore from Thomas, Okla., accumulated 22 points, six rebounds and two steals in 20 minutes on the floor. Selzer hit 10 of 12 free-throw tries to equal season highs in both categories. Selzer turns in 17.7 points and 5.9 rebounds in 17.1 minutes of play per game
• 
NaShyla Hammons, a 6-foot senior from Oklahoma City, matched season highs with 17 points and four steals. Hammons posted her second double-digit scoring performance in a row. Hammons tallies 7.5 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.00 steal a contest with 92 percent free-throw shooting
• OCU shoots 80.9 percent of its free-throw shots to lead NAIA Division I in team free-throw percentage. Lockhart tops the country with 82 3-pointers made, while Selzer leads NAIA Division I with a 64.7 percent field-goal percentage. • Oklahoma City assumed the No. 1 spot in the latest national rankings as the last remaining undefeated team in NAIA Division I. The Stars took all nine No. 1 votes for the program's 51st instance atop the rankings and 258th consecutive national poll appearance overall to continue the NAIA's longest streak of top-25 showings dating back to 1997-98. The Stars reached the NAIA Tournament for the 22nd consecutive year and for the 25th time overall last season. OCU has captured nine national championships in 1988, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2017
• OCU was chosen tied for first in the SAC preseason coaches' poll. The Stars took their 19th SAC regular-season championship last season. OCU has won or shared nine of the last 10 league titles, going 232-22 (.913 winning percentage) within SAC play since 2007-08
• The Stars own a 13-1 advantage in the all-time series
• Oklahoma City reeled in a 85-70 victory over Southwestern Assemblies of God on Jan. 14 in Waxahachie, Texas, in the most previous meeting. Lockhart and Selzer each posted 19 points
 
ABOUT THE LADY LIONS
• Southwestern Assemblies of God suffered a 108-63 setback to fifth-ranked Wayland Baptist (Texas) on Saturday in Plainview, Texas. Southwestern Assemblies of God (10-9, 5-7 SAC) allowed its most points since a 102-78 setback to John Brown (Ark.) on Feb. 2, 2017 in Siloam Springs, Ark.
• Tamera Derrough, a 5-6 sophomore, had 19 points, four rebounds and three assists. She averages 9.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists a contest
• The Lady Lions rates fourth in the nation with a 77.9 percent free-throw percentage
• SAC coaches predicted Southwestern Assemblies of God would be the sixth-place team in the league prior to the season
 
MEET THE COACHES
Bo Overton (135-22, fifth season with OCU)
• Led Stars to a 33-5 season with a trip to the NAIA Division I Championship Tournament title game in 2018-19
• Overton has coached four all-Americans while at OCU, including Daniela Wallen, the 2017 NAIA Division I player of the year, and Daniela Galindo, the 2018 WBCA NAIA player of the year
• Overton served as an assistant coach for the Chinese national team in the 2012 Olympic games
• From 1998-2004, Overton served as an assistant for Oklahoma. The Sooners made five NCAA Tournament appearances during that time, with a 2002 NCAA runner-up finish and Final Four berth. He also earned three Big 12 regular-season titles and two conference tournament championships throughout his six years
• Overton collected his 150th career win coaching women's college basketball 85-70 over Southwestern Assemblies of God on Jan. 11 in Waxahachie, Texas. He has a 157-69 mark (.695 winning percentage) in seven years as a head women's basketball coach
 
Tiffany Phillips (74-66, fifth season with Southwestern Assemblies of God)
• Phillips took National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association Central Region coach of the year last season
• She led Southwestern Assemblies of God to a 21-12 mark last season for its first 20-win season since going 23-13 in 2010-11
• Phillips spurred Hector (Ark.), Marshall (Ark.) and Morrilton Sacred Heart (Ark.) to state-tournament appearances as a high-school head coach
• She had coached collegiately as an assistant at Delta State (Miss.) and Central Arkansas
