THE MATCHUP

• Top-ranked Oklahoma City University Will look to inch closer to locking up a share of their fourth straight Sooner Athletic Conference title on Tuesday night when they head to nearby Bethany, Okla. to take on their travel partner in league play - Southwestern Christian University
• OCU has won nine straight true road games dating back to last season, and they have won 16 of 17 road or neutral contests since their last away loss
 
ABOUT THE STARS
• Oklahoma City used a huge second quarter to come from behind to win on the road at Texas Wesleyan University on Saturday, outscoring the Rams 28-7 in the second period on their way to the 73-50 win
• Mallory Lockhart, a sophomore from Keller, Texas, led the Stars with 19 points on 7-for-16 shooting in the game. She also made five made 3-pointers on 12 attempts, and she had a rebound and an assist
• Abby Selzer, a 6-foot-2 sophomore from Thomas, Okla., scored 17 points in the game, finishing the day with exactly 1,000 career points. She added seven rebounds in the game as well, and she became a member of the OCU 1,000-point club in her 58th career game
• Brennyn Seagler, a 5-11 senior from Gruver, Texas, narrowly missed out on a double-double in the game, scoring 10 points and grabbing eight boards

• Oklahoma City assumed the No. 1 spot in the latest national rankings as the last remaining undefeated team in NAIA Division I. The Stars took all nine No. 1 votes for the program's 51st instance atop the rankings and 258th consecutive national poll appearance overall to continue the NAIA's longest streak of top-25 showings dating back to 1997-98. The Stars reached the NAIA Tournament for the 22nd consecutive year and for the 25th time overall last season. OCU has captured nine national championships in 1988, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2017
• OCU was chosen tied for first in the SAC preseason coaches' poll. The Stars took their 19th SAC regular-season championship last season. OCU has won or shared nine of the last 10 league titles, going 234-22 (.914 winning percentage) within SAC play since 2007-08
• The Stars lead the all-time series 14-0
• Oklahoma City raced to a 15-4 lead after the first quarter at Abe Lemons Arena on Jan. 14, and from there the Stars cruised to a 69-42 win. OCU held the Lady Eagles to the worst shooting performance in any SAC game to that point in the season, holding SCU to 14-for-62 (22.6%) from the floor
 
ABOUT THE LADY EAGLES
• After opening the season 10-2, SCU has won six of their last 10 games, including a road win at Southwestern Assemblies of God University on Saturday to complete the season series sweep
• Thamires Andrade led the Eagles with 19 points in the win at SAGU, and she was one of four SCU players in double figures in the game along with Makenzie Janz (17), Kea Mays (14), and Jamie Clarke (11)
• SCU leads the NAIA in 3-point percentage at 39.8 percent from long range, and the Eagles are also in the top three in the NAIA in 3-pointers made per game (2nd - 10.182), and total 3-pointers made (3rd - 224)
• Texas Wesleyan was picked to finish seventh in the 11-team SAC by the league coaches before the season
 
MEET THE COACHES
Bo Overton (137-22, fifth season with OCU)
• Led Stars to a 33-5 season with a trip to the NAIA Division I Championship Tournament title game in 2018-19
• Overton has coached four all-Americans while at OCU, including Daniela Wallen, the 2017 NAIA Division I player of the year, and Daniela Galindo, the 2018 WBCA NAIA player of the year
• Overton served as an assistant coach for the Chinese national team in the 2012 Olympic games
• From 1998-2004, Overton served as an assistant for Oklahoma. The Sooners made five NCAA Tournament appearances during that time, with a 2002 NCAA runner-up finish and Final Four berth. He also earned three Big 12 regular-season titles and two conference tournament championships throughout his six years
• Overton collected his 150th career win coaching women's college basketball 85-70 over Southwestern Assemblies of God on Jan. 11 in Waxahachie, Texas. He has a 159-69 mark (.697 winning percentage) in seven years as a head women's basketball coach
 
Mark Arthur (74-77, fifth season with Southwestern Christian)
• Arthur previously coached the Southwestern Christian men's basketball program for 20 years until he stepped down to become full-time athletic director in 2012
• The Eagles reached the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Central Region title game for the third consecutive year last season
• In 2008, the court in Pickens-Springer Gymnasium was named 'Mark Arthur Court' in recognition of Arthur's achievements at SCU. He was inducted into the SCU Hall of Fame in 2013
