OCU shot 50 percent in both halves Tuesday

LANGSTON, Okla. – Oklahoma City University subdued Langston 84-73 in the Sooner Athletic Conference men's basketball tournament quarterfinals Tuesday at C. Felton Gayles Fieldhouse.
Elijah Christman supplied the Stars (19-10) with 18 points, and Anthony Davis recorded 16 points to power OCU. The Stars, rated 18th in NAIA Division I, faces Oklahoma Panhandle State at 6 p.m. Friday in the SAC Tournament semifinals in Oklahoma City.

Williams, a senior from Denver, tallied all 13 points in the second half Tuesday, sinking 9-of-11 shots from the charity stripe, while Mark Howell, a senior from Grand Prairie, Texas, made 10 of his 13 points in the first half on 4-for-5 shooting from the floor, to go with a team high four assists.
