THE MATCHUP

• Oklahoma City University plays its third straight contest at Abe Lemons Arena after a 1-1 start in Sooner Athletic Conference play
• Randall upended OCU 70-67 on Nov. 12 in Moore, Okla.. The two squads split games a year ago
• Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students and OCU students, faculty and staff get into all regular-season OCU home athletics events free with their ID

ABOUT THE STARS
• Oklahoma City fell short 68-54 against Wayland Baptist (Texas) in its second game of conference play on Saturday. OCU (6-3) held the Pioneers far below their 82.2 points per game average this season
Rashaun Coleman, a 6-foot-0 junior from Houston, led OCU with 15 points, four assists and one steal. Coleman totaled 28 points, eight rebounds and six assists during the team's first two conference games. In 2019-20, Coleman averages 12.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.22 steals per game while hitting 51.3 percent from the field
Kealon Clayborne, a 6-3 junior from Cedar Hill, Texas, notched 12 points on the night, his sixth double-figure scoring effort on the season. Clayborne supplies OCU with 9.6 points and 2.0 assists a contest
• OCU ranks second in NAIA Division I in 3-point field goal percentage defense (26.1 percent), 17th in scoring defense per game (66.33), 18th in field goal percentage defense (39.5 percent)
• OCU received votes in the preseason ratings. Oklahoma City reached the NAIA Division I Championship Tournament for the 25th time last season and has won six national championships in 1991, 1992, 1994, 1996, 2007 and 2008
• The Stars have been slotted to take fifth place in the Sooner Athletic Conference according to the preseason coaches poll. OCU owns 13 SAC regular-season championships and 10 SAC Tournament titles
• Oklahoma City leads the all-time series against Randall 6-2. Randall handed OCU a 70-67 defeat on Nov. 12 in Moore, Okla.
 
ABOUT THE SAINTS
• Randall, a three-time NCCAA Division II national champion, is coming off a 90-82 road loss to Rogers State on Friday. The Saints hit 10 3-pointers while Rogers State outrebounded the Randall 51-27. Randall stands at 3-5
• Brent Clark, a 6-2 sophomore from Dallas, delivered a team-high 21 points in Friday's loss. Clark is averaging 12.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per contest this year
• Jordan Marshall, a 6-7 sophomore from Frisco, Texas, leads the Saints in scoring, averaging 14.9 points. He tallied 15 points and eight rebounds in Friday's loss
• Randall is averaging 67.6 points per game and allowing opponents to score an average of 77.8 points per contest

ABOUT THE COACHES
Stan Holt (6-3, first season with OCU)
• Holt arrived to OCU after directing fellow SAC school Langston to national prominence, putting together four consecutive 20-win seasons in his five seasons with the Lions. During his time there, Holt also won a conference tournament title in 2016 and reached the NAIA Division I Championship Tournament quarterfinals in 2017
• Langston produced five all-Americans and 18 all-conference performers under Holt
• Prior to his days at Langston, Holt spent time on the coaching staff at the University of Southern California. The Trojans appeared in back-to-back NCAA Tournaments during his tenure
• Holt's head-coaching record stands at 113-53 in his sixth year
 
Mark Berokoff (125-100, eighth season with Randall)
• Berokoff led the Saints to three consecutive NCCAA Division II national championships from 2016-18
• He came to Randall after one year as the director of basketball operations for the Texas State men's basketball team
• Berokoff has also served as an administrative assistant at Louisiana Tech. While there, he was part of one of the best seasons in the school's history with a record of 24-11 and a berth in the College Insider Tournament quarterfinals
