• Oklahoma City University hosts Manhattan Christian (Kan.) in its annual homecoming contest culminating the week of on-campus activities
• A complimentary tailgate buffet will be provided by university alumni engagement for alumni attendees and their families and friends starting noon Saturday

• At halftime, OCU athletics will be awarded the trophy for capturing a third consecutive Directors' Cup title. The Stars topped the 2018-19 NAIA Directors' Cup standings by a wide margin of 115.25 points. ABOUT THE STARS
• The Stars came up short 71-64 to Oklahoma Baptist in their preseason exhibition Thursday night in Shawnee, Okla. Oklahoma City (2-0) took on Oklahoma Baptist for the first time since Feb. 14, 2015 at the Noble Complex. The Stars built an early seven-point lead before Oklahoma Baptist rallied
• Kealon Clayborne, a 6-foot-3 junior from Cedar Hill, Texas, supplied OCU with 12 points. Clayborne shot 4-for-6 from the floor and 3-for-4 on free throws. Clayborne owns an average of 11.5 points a game while shooting 66.7 percent from 3-point range this season
• Anthony Davis, a 6-7 senior from Lewisville, Texas, picked up 11 points and seven rebounds. Davis furnishes OCU with 12.0 points and 4.5 rebounds a contest
• The Stars have shot 52 percent from the field as a team to rank 10th among the NAIA, while Rashaun Coleman, a 6-foot junior from Houston, leads the nation with a 10-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. Compare OCU with the rest of the NAIA statistically this season here
• OCU received votes in the preseason ratings. Oklahoma City reached the NAIA Division I Championship Tournament for the 25th time last season and has won six national championships in 1991, 1992, 1994, 1996, 2007 and 2008
• The Stars have been slotted to take fifth place in the Sooner Athletic Conference according to the preseason coaches poll. OCU owns 13 SAC regular-season championships and 10 SAC Tournament titles
• OCU buried Manhattan Christian 116-75 on Nov. 2 at Abe Lemons Arena. Oklahoma City holds a 3-0 advantage in the all-time series against Manhattan Christian. The Stars extended their winning streak in season openers to seven before running that win streak to eight this season. Davis compiled 17 points, six rebounds and two steals
ABOUT THE THUNDER
• Manhattan Christian suffered a 98-68 setback to McPherson (Kan.) on Tuesday in McPherson, Kan. The Thunder (0-1) mustered 37.7 percent shooting from the field after posting a 30 percent field-goal percentage in the first period
• Chelvin Webb, a 6-2 senior, topped Manhattan Christian with 13 points. He hit all three of his free-throw tries. Webb averaged 14.6 points and 5.1 rebounds a game last season
• Alex Mitura, a 6-foot junior, added 12 points. Mitura averaged 13.1 points per game in 2018-19
MEET THE COACHES
Stan Holt (first season with OCU)
• Holt arrived to OCU after directing fellow SAC school Langston to national prominence, putting together four consecutive 20-win seasons in his five seasons with the Lions. During his time there, Holt also won a conference tournament title in 2016 and reached the NAIA Division I Championship Tournament quarterfinals in 2017
• Langston produced five all-Americans and 18 all-conference performers under Holt
• Prior to his days at Langston, Holt spent time on the coaching staff at the University of Southern California. The Trojans appeared in back-to-back NCAA Tournaments during his tenure
Jordan Strom (first season with Manhattan Christian)
• Jordan Strom enters his first year as the athletic director and head men's basketball coach at his alma mater after returning from serving in the same role over the last two years at Dallas Christian College
• In his first year at Dallas Christian, the Crusaders improved their win total by 16 games and qualified for the 2018 National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament where they made an Elite 8 run and finished fifth in the nation. Strom was named the 2018 NCCAA Southwest Region coach of the year. During his two years at Dallas Christian, Strom coached two NCCAA all-Americans and one NCCAA academic all-American

• Andrew Himes will provide the play-by-play. Himes enters his ninth season as the voice of the Stars and has been broadcasting OCU basketball for 12 years starting on color commentary as an OCU student
