THE MATCHUP

• Oklahoma City University looks to give Bo Overton his 100th career victory as OCU coach
• The Stars have won their last four overall and all six road games this season
 
ABOUT THE STARS
• The Stars crushed Central Christian (Kan.) 87-33 on Thursday at Abe Lemons Arena. Oklahoma City (17-2, 10-1 SAC) scored at least 80 points for the ninth time this season
Mallory Lockhart, a 5-foot-7 freshman from Keller, Texas, equaled her season bests with 20 points and six 3-pointers. Lockhart produced 12 points and four treys in the second half. Lockhart reels in 10.7 points while ranking fifth in the NAIA with a 46.2 percent 3-point shooting clip
Abby Selzer, a 6-2 freshman from Thomas, Okla., posted 19 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks for her sixth double-double of 2018-19. She shot 7-for-9 from the field and 5-for-6 from the free-throw line. Selzer tallies 16.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.37 blocked shots a contest. Selzer's 63.4 field-goal percentage ranks second, while her 85.9 percent free-throw shooting ranks eighth among NAIA Division I
• The Stars hold foes to 28.5 percent shooting from the field for the lowest opponents' shooting percentage in NAIA Division I this season. • OCU moved to No. 12 in the last NAIA ranking. Oklahoma City added to the NAIA's longest streak of top-25 appearances, making its 249th consecutive top 25 dating back to 1997-98. OCU has made 24 trips to the NAIA Division I Tournament and captured nine national championships in 1988, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2017
• The Stars picked up the second spot in the Sooner Athletic Conference preseason coaches poll. Oklahoma City took its 18th SAC regular-season championship and 12th SAC Tournament title last season. OCU has won or shared nine of the past 11 league titles, going 210-21 (.909 winning percentage) within SAC play since 2007-08
• OCU hammered Langston 87-47 on Nov. 29, 2018 at Abe Lemons Arena earlier this season in the  2018-19 league opener. Selzer provided the Stars with 22 points and six rebounds for her first 20-point outing in college. Selzer shot 8-for-9 from the floor and hit her first seven field-goal attempts
• The Stars' all-time record vs. Langston stands at 33-3
 
ABOUT THE LADY LIONS
• Southwestern Christian outlasted Langston 70-65 on Thursday in Bethany, Okla. Jhordyn Patton canned a 3 to cut the Lady Lions' deficit to 66-65 with nine seconds left, but Southwestern Christian responded with four free throws to clip Langston (8-12, 3-9 SAC)
• Patton, a 5-5 senior, supplied Langston with 22 points, five rebounds and two steals. Patton accumulates 17.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.15 thefts per game
• Akia Frett, a 5-5 senior, had 22 points, six rebounds, six steals and two steals. Frett averages 14.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.60 steals a contest
• Langston sinks 44 percent from the field to rank 11th in the NAIA, while Tennia Hill rates third in the country with 65 3-pointers
• The Lady Lions were selected to finish eighth in the SAC by the coaches before the season 

MEET THE COACHES
Bo Overton (99-19, fourth season with OCU)
• Led Stars to 28-6 season with the SAC regular-season and tournament crowns in 2017-18
• Overton has coached four all-Americans while at OCU, including Daniela Wallen, the 2017 NAIA Division I player of the year, and Daniela Galindo, the 2018 WBCA NAIA player of the year
• Overton served as an assistant coach for the Chinese national team in the 2012 Olympics
• From 1998-2004, he served as assistant for Oklahoma. During that time, the Sooners made five NCAA Tournament trips with the 2002 NCAA runner-up finish and Final Four berth with three Big 12 regular-season titles and two conference tournament crowns
• He has an overall record coaching college women of 121-66, notching his 100th career win in a 78-53 victory at Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) on Feb. 23, 2018
 
Elaine Powell (34-44, third season with Langston)
• Powell previously served as an assistant coach for women's basketball programs at Alabama A&M, Ohio University and Grambling State University
• She spent nearly a decade playing in the WNBA, where she was a three-time WNBA champion with the Detroit Shock
• Prior to her professional basketball career, Powell attended LSU, where she was an all-American and finished her career as LSU's 11th all-time leading scorer with 1,163 points. She was the first player in LSU history to be drafted into the WNBA
