ABOUT THE STARS
• Oklahoma City pounded Central Christian (Kan.) 94-60 Tuesday night in McPherson, Kan. The Stars (21-5, 14-3 SAC) made a season-high 40 field goals against the Tigers, topping their previous record of 38 against Central Christian on Jan. 16
Daniela Galindo, a 5-foot-10 senior from Shattuck, Okla., led the Stars with 22 points, eight assists, six rebounds and five steals. Galindo leads the league in scoring with 20.8 points per contest, the fifth-best average in NAIA Division I
Brooke Irwin, a 6-foot-3 senior from Mustang, Okla., supplied OCU with 19 points, five rebounds and three blocks against Central Christian. She averages 12.4 points and 6.0 boards per game this season
• Among NAIA Division I, Oklahoma City ranks third in free throw percentage (77.2), fourth in 3-point field goal percentage (37.9) and fifth in blocks per game (4.8). To see how the Stars stack up against the NAIA in other categories, click here
• OCU moved to No. 7 in the latest NAIA Division I rankings. Oklahoma City extended the NAIA's longest streak of top-25 appearances to 244 consecutive rankings dating back to 1997-98. OCU has made 23 trips to the NAIA Division I Tournament and captured nine national championships in 1988, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2017
• The Stars have been installed as the favorite to win the Sooner Athletic Conference in the preseason coaches poll. OCU took its 17th SAC regular-season championship and 11th SAC Tournament title in 2016-17. The Stars have won or shared seven of the past eight SAC regular-season titles and with a 159-14 mark (.919 winning percentage) in conference play during that time
• In the last meeting between the two teams, Oklahoma City defeated Southwestern Christian 59-54 on Jan. 13 in Bethany, Okla. Taylor LaCour scored a game-high 18 points, grabbed six boards and blocked two shots in the win. The Stars own a 10-0 all-time record against Southwestern Christian

ABOUT THE EAGLES
• Southwestern Christian comes off a 75-69 win over Texas Wesleyan Saturday in Bethany, Okla. The Eagles (10-13, 5-11 SAC) made a season-best 28 free throws on 38 attempts against the Rams and have made 20 or more free throws in their last three games
• Eliora Johnson, a 5-foot-11 senior from Toronto, Canada, was named NCCAA Division I women's basketball student-athlete of the week for the fourth time this season after averaging 24.5 points and 24.5 rebounds in two games for the Eagles last week. Johnson ranks first in NAIA Division I in both defensive rebounds per game with 10.2 and total rebounds per game with 15.1

MEET THE COACHES
Bo Overton (75-16, third season with OCU)
• Led Stars to 34-2 season, accruing 2017 NAIA Division I and Sooner Athletic Conference coach of the year awards
• Overton has coached three all-Americans while at OCU, including Daniela Wallen, the 2017 NAIA Division I player of the year
• Overton served as an assistant coach for the Chinese national team in the 2012 Olympics
• From 1998-2004, he served as assistant for Oklahoma. During that time, the Sooners made five NCAA Tournament trips with the 2002 NCAA runner-up finish and Final Four berth, three Big 12 regular-season titles and two conference tournament crowns

Mark Arthur (42-45, third season with SCU)
• Arthur previously coached the SCU men's basketball program for 20 years until he stepped down to become full-time athletic director in 2012
• In his first year as the women's basketball head coach, Arthur led the Eagles to their highest finish in the SAC standings since joining the conference in 2013 (third place)
• In 2008, the court in Pickens-Springer Gymnasium was named 'Mark Arthur Court' in recognition of Arthur's achievements at SCU. He was inducted into the SCU Hall of Fame in 2013
