MOORE, Okla. – Oklahoma City University came away with a 95-89 win over Randall on Tuesday night at the Randall Activities Center.
Chris Williams, a senior from Denver, produced season highs with 32 points and five steals while collecting five rebounds for Oklahoma City. The Stars, ranked fifth in NAIA Division I men's basketball, improved to 5-1 on the season.
Joe Clarke, a senior from New Rochelle, N.Y., supplied 17 points, two blocked shots and two steals, and Anthony Davis, a junior from Lewisville, Texas, turned in 13 points and seven rebounds off the bench for OCU. 
Eric McCollum, a senior from Newburgh, N.Y., posted his third double-double of the season of 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Stars.
Brandon Askew had a transition bucket to put Randall ahead 66-65 with 11:23 to go. Davis answered with a lay-in to put OCU back on top 67-66. After Randall tied the game again, Davis sank a pair of free throws to give the Stars the edge once more.
Williams pocketed a steal, then set up Clarke on a fastbreak dunk to provide the Stars an 85-74 advantage at the 4:20 mark. OCU's lead grew to 13 with Davis' free throws with 3:15 left. 
Randall roared back and cut the Stars' lead down to 93-89 on Malik Barnett's trey with 39 seconds showing. Williams dropped in free throws, then collected a steal to salt away OCU's victory.
The Stars meet Langston at 7:45 p.m. Nov. 29 at Abe Lemons Arena to open Sooner Athletic Conference play.
