OCU socks Bacone

18th-ranked Stars remain undefeated in conference play

MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Oklahoma City University rolled past Bacone 25-14, 25-17, 25-15 on Tuesday at the Palmer Center.
Marijana Bjelobrk, a freshman from Belgrade, Serbia, totaled 10 kills for the Stars. OCU, ranked 18th in NAIA volleyball, improved to 12-3, 3-0 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
Manon Soraru, a junior from Mulhouse, France, tacked on eight kills and four aces, while Sanja Vojnovic, a junior from Bajeljena, Bosnia, posted 28 assists and three aces for OCU.
The Stars' Stefani Nell, a junior from Tulsa, Okla., added six kills and eight digs, and Holly Randall, a junior from Edmond, Okla., nailed six kills. Shekinah Clarke, a sophomore from Waianae, Hawaii, recorded five kills, seven digs and two aces.
OCU takes on John Brown (Ark.) at 1 p.m. Saturday at Abe Lemons Arena.
