OCU fall to 3-6 on the season.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University dropped a 7-6 decision to MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.), and fell 6-5 to No. 12 Bellevue (Neb.) on Saturday at Jim Wade Stadium.
The Stars, ranked fifth in NAIA baseball, moved to 3-6 on the season, while MidAmerica Nazarene improved to 3-0 and Bellevue went to 2-1.
In the first game against MNU, the Pioneers struck first in the top of the second inning with a RBI double followed by a single that scored two runners.
Oklahoma City responded in the bottom frame of the second inning with four runs. With no-outs and the bases loaded, Joe Lytle singled through the right side to score Skyler Bean and Garrett Foster. In the next at-bat, Jared Baker hit a sacrifice fly to leftfield which plated Joe Haddox. Landon Coon then singled through the right side, scoring Dilon Argo.
The Stars added a run in the fourth inning on another Coon RBI single. Coon, a senior from Dale, Okla., went 4-for-4 with two RBIs.
Jared Eckley of MNU hit a one-out RBI single in the top of the fifth. OCU starter Ricky Parra struck out the next Pioneer batter but walked Jason Jones to load the bases, which prompted the Stars to turn to their bullpen. Parra received the loss on 4.2 innings pitched, while allowing five hits and striking out seven batters.
After the change, Pioneers' Kelvin Perez cleared the bases with a double to left-center to gain the lead at 7-5.
OCU added a run in the bottom of the fifth via an error by the Pioneers leftfielder to cut the margin to 7-6. The MNU bullpen held OCU scoreless in the final three innings. Tyler Taute picked up the win, while Lenzie Foley got the save.
In the second game versus Bellevue, the Bruins scored three runs in the top of the second inning on a two-run RBI double down the leftfield line, followed by a RBI single to center.
Bellevue's Colton Nash singled in a run in the top of the fifth inning to go up 4-0.
Braulio Torres-Perez of BU had a no-hitter operating into the sixth inning until Dylan Delso roped a 2-out, full count double to left field. Delso advanced to third on a wild pitch, then Linn doubled down the right field line to score Delso. Foster singled through the left side to put runners on the corners and Jared Baker hit a bases clearing double to left-center to cut the Bruins' lead to 4-3.
OCU starter Skyler Janisse was chased out of the game with two outs in the sixth inning after walking a Bruins batter. With a runner on third, Grant Hamilton's wild pitch in the next at-bat gave BU a run to go up 5-3. Janisse gave up 10 hits and registered four strikeouts in 6.2 innings.
The Stars tied the game up at 5-5 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Linn hit a two-out single that scored Coon and Lytle. Linn finished 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a run.
The Bruins executed a suicide sacrifice squeeze bunt to score the deciding and final run to win the game as Leland Tilley held the Stars scoreless in the bottom of the eighth. Tilley received the win on 2.0 innings pitched and four strikeouts.
OCU are back in action in a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. Thursday against Arlington Baptist (Texas) in Arlington, Texas.
